GF Graphite

GF graphite is the base grade of our glass forming materials with high strength and durability for glass forming applications. GF materials provide higher product yield through improved glass surface finishes and a match to high CTE glass products.

We offer purification of each GM-GF material to allow for increased oxidation resistance through the elimination of metallic contaminates that react to oxygen present in the glass forming process. Our purification process reduces impurities to 5 ppm (99.9995%) or less as determined by ash analysis. This process is identified by placing a -1 after the grade. (GF-1)
